PCR Mutagenesis

We are just getting started on mutagenesis using PCR. I have
been looking at references by:

Ho et al Gene 77:51, 1989
Landt et al Gene 96:125, 1990
Ito et al Gene 102:67, 1991

Have any of you netters used these methods? Any specific problems with
or benefits of these vs other methods? Are there other general approaches
that I should know about?

Any help would be appreciated.
