Agarose gel fluorography

Dear Colleagues,

	Simple question:  what is optimal method for doing
fluorography on an agarose gel?  What is best fluor to use?
What is best approach to drying down an agarose gel?  Does
RNA or DNA need to be "fixed" prior to impregnation with
the fluor or prior to drying?  Any other comments or 
suggestions would be appreciated.
