Culture Medium?

I was recently asked a question and have not been able to find the 
answer. Does anyone reading this newsgroup know of a culture medium 
"DAFF1000"? Quite frankly, I'm really not sure that it is a culture 
medium, but from the context of the original source it appears to be. 
Still, if DAFF1000 means something to you but is not a medium an answer
