alternatives to PEG

Hi netters,

  Iwas wondering of some alternative methods to PEG for precipitation of phages 
(any kind) out of larger culture volumes (say 100-300 ml).

 Can anybody give hints, tips or references ? Is the ultracentrifugation a 
method of choice ?
