the lac switch inducible expression system

Hello fellow netters:
   Does anyone out there have any experience with the lac switch
vectors supplied by Stratagene?  We have tried making stable cell
lines with the system, but find that the clonal cell lines that
we have screen all have quite low fold inductions in response to
5 mM IPTG.  I was curious if anyone else has tried the system and
if our results are simply bad luck in selecting our clones.
