Dear Netters

We are about to use PCR to amplify genes for functional studies. As a
result we would prefer not to use Taq polymerase, because of its lack of
proof reading capability. We are currently looking into the alternative
thermostable enzymes. Does anyone out there have a preference for one
enzyme or another? Alternatively, has anyone come up against a limitation
of one of the alternative enzymes.

Thanks in advance for any comments
