Trouble growing EMBL4 to high titer

Hi!
I have similar problem with clones in EMBL4. Any hints
would be greatly appreciated.
What I am doing at the moment is the plate lysis (see Maniatis).
I works OK but still I need a few large plates to get enough
to work with.
So, any hints about the liquid cultures would be welcome.
