We would like to use a macintosh with a good scanner (yet to be purchased)
to act as a densitometer on autoradiograms. The idea being that you scan
in the gel and then use a software package to tell you how dark things
are relative to other things. The ability to read sequencing gels would
be nice as well. I don't have a good idea of where to start looking,
so any ideas at all would be aprecciated. Anyone who is using
such a beast, and could give reviews of it, would be thanked profusly.
If a large number of messages are received, I will post a summary.
