Hi! Bionetters,

I find in many papers proteins are fusioned with glutathion-
S-transferase (GST) as the antigens to produce antibodies. Could
someone give me some ideas why they use fusion proteins and why
the always use GST as fusion protein? Is it because plasmids
coded GST are commercially and easilly available or is it
because GST has some effects to make selection of antibodies
easier?

Thanks.
