Dear M and Rer's
I am attempting to do the
dut ung mutagenesis technique in Bluescript (2.9 Kb)
with a 2.2 Kb insert. T4 DNA pol and gene 32 protein
does not seem to do the job of making full length
copies. I wanted to switch to T7 DNA pol. which
if you believe the hype, is better.
BIO RAD is bloody expensive and Sequenase
is modified T7 which does NOT work.
Any experiences and a SOURCE for
unmodified T7.
Thanks, we are desperate.
