sub-unit separation

Dear Networld,

We have a problem with protein purification. After several purification 
steps (DEAE, Gelfiltration, TSK-Phenyl) we have obtained two different 
subunits of an enzyme in the same fraction/peak. We are interested in any 
suggestions to separate them mildly, so that they keep their activities.
