agro miniprep

I have tried to use some standard coli-type minipreps on my
agrobacterium (boiling or alkaline-lysis, but no phenol) that are
presumably transformed cells (they grow on high
levels of the appropriate antibiotic. Thus far, I seem to get DNA,
that seems to be plasmid, but when I cut it it either disappears
or gives a smear like genomic, but it even seems to dissappear.
Does anyone know what's going on, and/or send me a good miniprep
protocol?
Thanks,
Neal
