Fried RT-PCR! Help!

Dear netters,

I've been amplifying potyviral CP genes for a sequencing project over the last
few months, and now suddenly the immunocapture RT-PCR will no longer provide me
with results. At first, I thought that maybe the enzymes (MuLV reverse
transcriptase and AmpliTaq) had died (which turned out to be true after I did
a series of control runs). I then ordered a new kit and new enzymes and still
got absolutely no product. I then checked the water quality, as we have had
some problems with our MilliQ system, and found that it was OK. I tried another
source for the water but still got no results. I checked to make sure my
primers were ok, and the still prime for sequencing, so now I've run out of
options. If anyone has some suggestions, I'd REALLY appreciate them.

Thanks in advance,

Andrew Scott
