Hmmmm.

When we do slicing for in situ hybridization these are the precautions we
take.

Wipe the blade with EtOH.

Use fresh, ProbeON slides.  Not regular slides.

Wear gloves and a mask.

I don't think you have to woryy too much about RNases on the blade.  After all, 
the tissue you are cutting has RNases in it.  I would just keep the tissue at
the lowest possible temperatures at all times.
