DNA fingerprinting with ABI 373A DNA Sequencer/GeneScan

I am looking for protocols and papers about the use of the Applied
Biosystems 373A DNA Sequencer/GeneScan for DNA fingerprinting. In
particular, the conditions and primers to amplify by PCR minisatellites
from horse, goat and cattle in general.
