Thanks to Martin Kennedy for his summary.  Another question comes up- has 
anyone had any experience with the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin?  It was advertised 
in a recent Science as effective against these bugs.  It is produced by Miles, 
and they gave the phone number 800-227-9412.
