We bought a Fluostar from SLT; two versions available: top-reading and bottom-reading. For our
tissue culture experiments the bottom version was favourable. It is more sensitive than the
bottom version but you can not avoid the background fluoerscence of the plates (400-450 nm
emission ). Overall we are very content; at the moment it seems to be the best buy !
