Glacial Acetic Acid

I once used a large amount of glacial acetic acid in a very white large
tupperware container (for sequencing gels), and noticed a slightly blueish
tinge. This was the same color that many people notice in glaciers, and in
very deep snow, I think due to refraction of light.
