Need Help w/ Myco

Hello,

I've just started working with Mycobacterium smegmatus and I'm having a
difficult time extracting plasmid/chromosomal DNA. Does anyone know of a good
protocol and where I could get a copy of it?

I also plan to do some PCR work with the strain and I would assume that once I
can get the DNA out PCR shouldn't be a problem. Has anyone else found PCR to be
tricky with myco? If so, what solved the problem?
