Has anyone tried the new non-radioactive in vitro translation kits
from Promega or Boehringer? Briefly these use a biotinylated amino
acid instead of radioactively labelled. Which reticulocyte lysates
have been tried (since some apparently contain biotinylatable proteins
that can contribute to background)? I will summarize any replies.
