pcr of ancient DNA (birds)

	I am planing to sequence pcr-product from old museum-specimens
of birds. Since I dont have much material and most likely not much of
DNA in it I would like to hear from people who have tried anything similar.
If anyone could point references to me or give me hint,protocols,caveats I
would be really thankful for that too ;)
