I believe gt6 is gt6-ara6 without the ara stuffer fragment.
There is a map for gt6-ara6 in:
   Williams & Blattner
"Bacteriophage lambda vectors for DNA cloning" pages 201-281
In Genetic Engineering: Principles & methods, volume 2
   (Eds. J.K. Setlow & A. Hollaender)

The Ellidge paper says gt6 is gt7 with CI857 and gives a reference for gt7
but I have not looked at that paper.
If you find any more info on gt6 or lambda YES please let me know.
