Linker interferes w Transformation?

 Rick-I do not think that excess linkers would prevent transformation.
They may reduce the efficiency, but we all know that "you only need one!"
I would bet that the problem is in an earlier step.  If the ligation worked,
an agarose gel would be able to discern the CCC from the linear DNA.  If CCC
seen on gel, than the transformation should work.
