Epitope mapping technique?

Dear Netters,

Has anyone been able to reproduce the technique to map epitopes without 
amino acid sequence information?  The procedure was developed by Jie Yuan 
and published in _Analytical Biochemistry_ 205, 179-182 (1992).

If you have any information regarding this procedure, please respond 
directly to me.  I have posted this question for a friend who doesn't 
have Internet access, and I will forward any replies to her.
