compressions during sequencing

In response to the SEQUENCING secondary structure question...
I use modified Labeling and Termination Mixes when I have this problem:

Substitute BOTH c7 analogs for dATP and dGTP in these reagents.
(I.e.: replace dGTP with c7dGTP and also replace dATP with c7dATP)
also drop the ddA and ddG concentrations in the respective Termination 
mixes by 50%.

I would also recommend following Termination with a Terminaal Transferase 
chase.
