We rinse them with tap water after running a gel and store them until
next time.
Before assembling the gel sandwich, we spray with a glass cleaner (like
Windex except from the lowest bidder) and wipe with Kimwipes or other
lint-free absorbent paper, then rinse with ethanol and wipe with
Kimwipes. If the plates need a silane treatment, we do it now.
