Hi netters! I´m interested in using chelex 100 to isolate DNA from tissue (muscle). Does anyone out there have a good protocol. I´ve seen the Walsh paper(BioTechniques, Vol.10, no.4, 1991, pp.506-513) but they say nothing about muscle extraction. I suppose I need a Proteinase K step? Thanks in advance, Peter Thorén
