Expression of fusion proteins

I am interested in expressing a protein with an affinity tag which can later 
be cleaved off.  The cleavage should be specific, and not generate 
microheterogeneity from slight variations in position.  If you have experience 
with the various systems now available (such as Hisx6, DDDDK enterokinase 
cleavage (Invitrogen), strep-tag (Medical Braun), or Promega's Clip, I be 
interested in hearing.
