A number of postings have asked where to obtain rare restriction
endonucleases.

The Restriction Enzyme Database (REBASE) is a collection of information
about
restriction enzymes, methylases, the microorganisms from which they have
been
isolated, recognition sequences, cleavage sites, methylation specificity,
the
commercial availability of the enzymes, and references - both published and
unpublished observations (dating back to 1952).

This database can be accessed without charge via anonymous ftp, WAIS
server, and email. Information on the service can be found in the document
REBASE.DOC, which can be obtained by anonymous ftp to vent.neb.com.

Hope this is helpful.
