hi,
i am looking for a method to isolate damaged dna along with undamaged
dna from e.coli cells. The damage is created from gamma irridation
and normal plasmid preps(yes the damaged dna is in a plasmid) isolate
mostly supercoiled dna. The isolated plasmid dna will then be
subjected to primer extension so it needs to be fairly pure. Anyone
have any experience with this? please email me at
johns_ja at jhunix.hcf.jhu.edu. thanks a bunch.
