unlike bionet.microbiology, which has recieved vast support from a number
of sources, i have seen no extensive discussion of a need for a group on
oligonucleotides in the methods-reagents group. why a group for
oligonucleotides? i dont see that postings on oligos have dominated
methods-reagents; i also dont see why discussions oligonucleotide chemistry
and biology cant continue to be held in methods-reagents or other existing
groups.
this is unnecessary and serves to divert discussion of oligos from
methods-reagents. oh sure, you can cross-post, but then why create the
group in the first place?
i plan to vote no and will urge others to do the same.
