antibody dilution?

we'll be using mouse-anti-various.heat.shock.proteins monoclonals
on mice tissue. sigma technical service has info for immunoblotting
and suggests a 10 fold  decrease over the blotting dilution when
using cell culture. would gut tissue fixed onto slides require a
a more concentrated solution? any advice and/or references welcome
