Formamide-less southern protocol for biotinylated probes???

Try the USB Gene Images Hybridization Buffer (Church and Gilbert)
buffer, which does not have formamide.  Results with biotinylated
probes, both oligo and longer, are excellent, especially with
Northern blots.
