Dmitri-
   Entrez has a data base for xscription factors/peptide modifiers/etc.. 
with their CD ROM kit.  Additionally, if you have access to a Mac,
MacVector is a wonderful program which has similiar data bases (with the
initial references) and works with the Entrez CD ROM.  Hope this helps.
