Perhaps I missed the beginning of this thread, but do you wish to hybridize Northerns or Southerns with your oligos? We've had success with Northerns when the oligos are longer - 48mer or more. But with Southerns, even 20mers work great. We've p32 and dig labelled for Southerns with these short oligos. Is this what you're after?
