Prep remains of mummies?

Hi Everyone, First if this is the wrong group for the following then please
mail me before flameing me. Asking on behalf of a non-neter.
Can anyone tell or point me in a direction where I can find out what 
preperation is required of samples from mummified human remains for 
sequencing/linking of DNA.
