phenanthrene degredation

I am searching for methods/articles on degredation of PAHs by 
microorganisms specifically bacteria.  I have found several articles 
in AEM on fungal activity but very little on bacteria.  Specifically I
need methods of determining phenanthrene degredation with and without 
using a 14C label.  I also need info on further purification methods 
of commercially available phenanthrene and accepted methods of using 
phenanthrene in liquid culture media.
