Dear Simon,

The only comprehensive MSDS databases I know of at present is commercial
(Sigma-Aldrich MSDS CD library). However, there are two pretty good MSDS and
chemical safety fact sheet servers on the net. These can both be accessed
by gopher through the server at Case Western Dept of Biochemistry:

     gopher://biochemistry.cwru.edu:70/1

	 BioDatabases....
Search for MSDS by Chemical Name
Search for Chemical Fact Sheet by Chemical Name

The holdings are for about 20,000 compounds. Bye for now and I hope this
helps you a bit. Cheers, Shaun
