DNA from fixed tissue

I know this question recently arose in this group, but.............


I am interested in extracting DNA from formalin-fixed tissue. Some of the
tissues are NOT embedded in paraffin blocks, while some are.


Does anyone have a "sure-fire" protocol that they are willing to share?
