Optimum Mg concentration for Taq ligase & Taq polymerase

  Hi Netters,

       I wonder why the optimum MgCl2 concentration for Taq ligase is
higher than that for Taq polymerase. 
       I think: These two enzymes work in cooperation. Thus they catalyze
in same environment. 

       Please tell me why.
