BioTrace RP is a charged nylon membrane, however Gelman Sciences no longer
carries it. The membrane they currently recommend for colony/plaque lifts
is their nitrocellulose membrane BioTrace NT. They also carry a charged
membrane called BioTrace HP but at the moment it is only offered in
sheets. (They do offer special cuts if you wanted to try it for lifts).

To request a free sample of both or either of these membranes you can call
800-521-1520.

Hope this helps,

Dr. Jane Larson
