Yeast gene expression in mammalian cells

I posted this to the yeast group and did not get the info I wanted. I am
reposting to this larger group in hopes of finding some info.

Hi, I have some unusual questions:

Will yeast genomic DNA clones express in mammalian cell lines without
adding new promoters?

Has anyone tried to screen a mutant eukaryotic cell line with yeast DNA to
look for complementation?

Are there any good E. coli to yeast to mammal shuttle vectors?
