I cannot obtain any amount of plasmid DNA when i try to amplify in DH alpha mcr E. coli strain pACYC184 plasmid using or not spectinomycin. Is there any special E. coli strain to use for the amplification? have you any idea about this bad result? Thank you for the answer.
