MJR 96-well PTC-1 machine: suitable microtitre plates?

In response to message concerning problems with 96 well ubottom PVC plates in
PCR:
We've been using the Dynatech PVC plates with variable results, although
we consistently see well "crinkling". MJR recommends the Costar polycarbonate
plate and a 2 step denaturation scheme (5sec @ 94C then 30-60sec @ 92C).
As the plates are backordered we don't have any experience with them yet.
