We had problems sequencing Wizard miniprep DNA as well.  Our solution was to
combine 3 Wizard preps (150 ul), add 350 ul dH2O, Microcon-30 spin at 13,800 xg
for 10 min., QS back to 150 ul with dH2O and sequence.  We were seeing a salt
problem with the Wizard preps that did not occur with the Magic preps.  This
technique has not failed us yet and we sequence almost everything.
