Air Thermocycler and 32P?

Our lab is looking into buying an air thermocycler, but we often have 32P
in our reactions and I'm a little concerned about "flame-sealing"
capillary tubes that contain radiocative material. Does anyone out there
do this, or have any comments? Or am I just being paranoid?

On another note, I've seen three glowing testamonials in this group for
the Idaho 1605 air thermocycler. Is there anyone who *doesn't* like it?
If so, why?

Thanks in advance.
