mouse tail extraction protocol?

Hello,
I have lost/misplaced the reference and recipe for the DNA
extraction protocol which I only can refer to as mouse tail
extraction protocol. The buffer contained Triton X-100 and 
proteinase K. You see my difficulty---not only am I restrained
from referencing my method, but I cannot make more buffer w/o
the recipe. Please help me.
