linear polyAc carrier for RNA?

Hello all!

I recently read an article detailing the use of linear polyacrylamide
as a carrier for DNA/EtOH ppt'ns (NAR 18:378, 1990). Will this work
equally as well for RNA as for DNA? Just curious.
