This is a flat-out endorsement of GILSON pepetters. We have tried virtually every brand on the market (I'm not sure why) and we have a special drawer for the relics of these adventures. Beware of look-alikes sold by the large equipment supply houses. I discovered that you can't autoclave the barrels by melting one. They were flimsy in a lot of other ways as well.
