Hi, Paul.
The volume of prehybridization solution don't important
( it is necessary that your membrane completely was soaked
with fluid ). Thus, you can use the large amount of this
( I use 25 ml per 100 sq. cm ). While, the volume of
hybridization mix should be minimum ( it allows to achieve
a maximum concentration of your labeling probe ). Generally,
2 ml per 100 sq. cm are used but small filters may be request
more amounts.
